This was so easy to do. I started with just one square because I was afraid it would be a mess. I was wrong!!!! I wiped this product on and that was it. It dried very fast. It did not wipe off. I even took a white towel and tried to buff it. Because of it, being black, I just knew it may rub off on the towel…. But it did not! It was fast and easy to apply. As I walk by it and admire how well it turned out… I thought … I have to leave a review! (Which is something I never do)

I have been searching for something to fix these seats for years! I have tried EVERYTHING! Since I NEVER give up, I was searching again this week and found Clyde’s Leather Care Kit and decided to try it out. What could it hurt, right?!? It came in today and I tried it right away. I am VERY SATISFIED with the results! If you have leather, especially king ranch leather, and your seats look like mine did, give it a try! I couldn’t be happier with the end result! I HIGHLY recommend it, as well as wearing gloves for the application. My hands got a little dirty, but it did come off easily. GREAT PRODUCT!

I NEVER leave comments - good or bad. Happy to do this one because it deserves it. I'm currently restoring a 1987 Porsche 911; in which the drivers side seats had numerous rips and tears. Thought I would make a last ditch effort before paying for an exact match leather/dye repair out of EU (>$1500). I heard about Clydes and watched a few videos. VOILA!!! My wife and kids couldnt believe it. I'm ticked because it was so bad I literally didnt bother taking a 'before' pic because I "knew" it was going to be a bust. I had done seat repairs before and they were all awful. Full convert here. CLYDE'S is a literal MIRACLE product. I still cant believe it. I have sent the pic to the guy I was going to have repair it. He saw the condition of the rips and numerous tears - and even he said "What the ####! Man, thats a pretty good job considering the condition, and your experience doing this" Well done Clyde's.

Clyde to the rescue again. I have a very expensive designer brand cream colored lamb leather jacket that oxidized and caused it to look blotchy yellow. It looked terrible. I bought beige color because I wanted to mute the ugly yellow oxidation. It did just that beautifully and it’s wearable again! Thank you so much!

Works great if you ask me! My leather had no cracks just wear marks. Cleaned and conditioned the leather first, then applied the recoloring balm. Did a coat, let it dry, buffed it and did another coat. Very happy with the results. Highly recommend!

Clyde's 4-Step Leather Recoloring Kit

My saddle was getting very discoloured, and I’m pretty happy with this recoloring balm ! I skipped the deglazing part thinking my saddle was absorbing enough, but I think I should have used it, because applying the balm in circles made a lot of streaks. So I had to improvise and tap it in (just like makeup with a beauty blender), took a long time but no streaks at all ! It’s not perfectly seamless like I wanted it to be, but it looks much better as you can see in the photos. I haven’t applied the conditioning cream yet, so I hope it’ll make it look even better and smoother ! In conclusion, definitely use the deglazing to make sure your leather is totally absorbing

Our 17 year old leather chair was not looking good. The structure of the chair was still comfortable, but it was an eyesore in our living room. These products saved the day! 3 hours of labor followed by curing resulted in what looks like a new chair! We are so pleased with the results! We used only 1 kit, however, we felt we needed more cleaning foam and deglazer (only 2 oz.?). We barely had enough to finish the job for those steps. Overall, we will sing the praises of these products! Just feel that for the price of the kit, we should not have been panicked that we couldn't finish 1 chair and ottoman. Clyde’s Leather Recoloring Balm

I have a really expensive cream colored purse that turned yellow and had stains where it looked hideous. It was not usable and I almost threw it out. I figured might as well try to recolor it- I have nothing to lose. I tried to other cheaper brands and they didn’t cover anything. I saw the reviews on this but none for cream or white. This was my last attempt. It worked surprisingly well. I chose light beige which took the yellow tint out of the leather and covered the browning at the handles. The bag is back to being a solid cream color that is usable. One note is to be careful around metal hinges on bag as the color will cover it (you can scrap it off metal with fingernail). Overall very happy with the product and will use it again on any other leather damage I incur. Thank you

I had to leave a review for this company. I purchased a 10 year old leather chair off of Facebook marketplace. It was in good condition, but definitely worn and faded. I figured I’d try to revive the color and bring some life back to it. The number one thing I was worried about when looking for a leather coloring balm was that it would leave cracking and flaking. But I found this company and the reviews were so positive that I decided to try them out. I was completely blown away by the results! Just the recoloring balm alone made my chair look new again AND made it softer. It was a perfect color match, easy to use, and brought this ten year old chair back to life. The remoisturizing cream was the cherry on top to ensure added softness and that I was caring for my leather. 100% recommend this company! It brought my 10 year old chair back to life and now it can live on even longer.

Clyde’s Leather Recoloring Balm

I decided to recolor my parents old leather couch for myself because it was a good quality and buying a new one would cost over $2K. I was skeptical because it’s a dark color and I didn’t think I would be able to cover it. I was very pleasantly surprised! I tested on a small area and I actually thought it wouldn’t work, it took 3 coats because it was dark to begin with but after the third coat it looked brand new. My advice would be to make sure to do the deglazing step very throughly. The areas that were harder to cover are ones I didn’t deglaze as well. It also took more to color it than the suggestion (though I did need 3 coats which is partly why), but after it was finished I spent $250 rather than $2,000 on a new looking leather couch!

Clyde's 4-Step Leather Recoloring Kit

I bought these to use with my leather crafts-tooling, dying, etc. I love cream based dyes, as they are harder to spill and highlight my stamped images better than liquid dyes. The Clyde Leather dyes are available in a nice assortment of colors. They are easy to apply and to clean up after. (I just wash the applicator sponge with soap & water.) There is an odor, but it is minimal and I do not find it bothersome. My photo shows a test piece with some tooling and 3 coats of pink.

I refinished an 18 year old Century Sectional that had been in our sunroom and was greatly distressed. I followed Clyde’s directions to the letter. It took several days to allow the cleaning and deglazing to completely dry on all cushions. It took a more time and effort to get the color restored and balanced than I anticipated working one cushion at a time. But, I am very pleased with the finish and I’ve had numerous compliments. We will using this sectional for many years to come.

I think this kit is needed if you have something you really care about perfect results. For something less precious you can get away with just coloring, but I am relieved I ordered the kit. Especially helpful is the conditioner creme. You can add periodically to keep it nice and protected.

This sealed the scratches and peeled leather from our raymor & flannigan bonded leather couch. I used two colors to achieve a perfect match quite effortlessly. I just finger painted swirling and then smoothed it out and went a little darker coverage around the edges. I did notice the product is wearing off a tiny bit so I will reapply & recondition. Very happy overall. Impressive!

This stuff is amazing! So far I’ve ordered 3 different colors for different chairs, and it works wonders. This vintage Ekornes chair was cracking and discolored EVERYWHERE when I picked it up. I used the dark brown refinisher all over and it looked almost brand new! Even my husband was amazed. I also love that a little bit goes such a long way. I did the entire chair and ottoman with maybe 1/4 of the small container. Would definitely recommend!
