  • The 4-Step Process

    STEP 1 CLEAN YOUR LEATHER: Clean leather surface using Clyde's Leather Cleaning Foam and a rag. This removes dirt and dust that has been buried in the leather pores.

    STEP 2 ABSORBENCY TEST: If leather isn't absorbent, remove original finish using our Clyde's Leather Preparer and Deglazer. This will strip the leather of oils that make it non-absorbent.

    STEP 3 APPLY RECOLORING BALM: Apply Clyde’s Leather Recoloring Balm in a conservative manner, messaging the balm into the leather using the sponge included. Allow 24-36 hours for balm to cure.

    STEP 4 CONDITION LEATHER: Apply Clyde's Natural Leather Conditioner following balm application. This will seal the balm and prevent color transfer, as well as extend the life of your leather.

  • Conditioning

    Massage the conditioner into the leather using circular motions with a lint free cloth or sponge. The remoisturizing cream doesn’t need to dry, but it may take a couple of hours to fully absorb. 3. After 5-6 hours of conditioner curation, you are ready to use your new leather!

Great conditioner, after coloring the couch I conditioned it with Clyde’s. I ran out and tried some local stuff but ended up ordering more of Clyde’s. It gives a Beautiful sheen but wait 24 hours and buff it out. Excellent product! The photos show half with and half without Clyde’s.

It is fantastic. The color enriches the look of our couches. I picked medium brown first, and did not like the color. I was able to exchange all the med brown for the smoke brown. This was a great experience. We reconditioned our leather chair to the point it looks like new. The leather chair was 21 years old, in great shape with no tears but the leather was terribly faded. The Clyde's 3 step process was easy to follow. We cleaned the original finish off, we applied the Recoloring Balm, then finished with the Remoisturizing Cream. Clyde's provided us with instructions, which we carefully followed, for each step along the way. The customer service provided by Tina Phillips was unmatched. She patiently provided instructions and positive encouragement. I would highly recommend this product to anyone trying to reclaim a favorite chair. The cost for the Clyde's products was minimal compared to the cost of purchasing a replacement. Not even mentioning the sentimental value. Give it a try. It was easy!!
